Why NM

A compact flexible connection for common industrial drives.

NM couplings use two hubs with an elastomer ring between them. That arrangement gives a simple way to transmit torque while adding damping and limited misalignment accommodation.

Vibration damping

The elastomer adds internal damping between driving and driven equipment, useful where a rigid connection would pass more vibration.

No lubrication routine

The NM range is presented as lubrication-free. Routine attention therefore centers on alignment, hub condition and elastomer inspection.

Alignment allowance

Published radial and angular values are model-specific. They are limits to work within, not permission to leave a machine badly aligned.

Bore options

Different shaft bores can be quoted for the two hubs. Provide both diameters and keyways rather than only the motor shaft.

Confirm each bore, keyway and available envelope against d max, D, D1 and L.

Confirm RFQ details

State quantity, destination, elastomer request, material request and any unusual starts, reversing or environment.
