NM194 Flexible Coupling
NM194 is the NM194 model in the EVER POWER NM range, with 840 N.m nominal torque, 85 mm maximum bore and a published speed limit of 1500 rpm. It is a starting point for higher-torque industrial pump, compressor and process-equipment drives; final selection still depends on actual duty and shaft data.

Most wrong-coupling orders begin with an incomplete shaft description. Measure both sides independently and do not assume identical bores.
Where NM194 can fit
This size can be evaluated for pump, compressor, blower, mixer, conveyor and general machinery connections when the required continuous torque stays within the published nominal rating and the shaft bores fit the available hub capacity. Real duty matters: starts per hour, reversing, shock, ambient conditions and the driven machine can all change the appropriate size.
Use the coupling to accommodate the documented alignment allowance, not as a substitute for poor machine alignment. If the shafts cannot be brought within the published radial and angular values, correct the machine setup before commissioning.
What to send for a useful quote
Give us the driving and driven shaft diameters, keyway dimensions, running speed, design torque or motor power, quantity and destination. If the application sees frequent starts, reversing or shock, mention that as well. For replacements, a photo of the old hubs and elastomer can help identify the interface, but dimensional confirmation still takes priority.
Specify what the duty actually needs.
The baseline product information identifies an NBR elastomer and lubrication-free operation. Alternative elastomer hardness or hub materials should be treated as RFQ options and confirmed against the application rather than inferred from color.
Compare adjacent NM sizes before freezing the bore.
A larger hub may solve a bore constraint, but moving up a size also changes the coupling envelope. Compare torque, bore capacity, D, L and speed together.
