NM67 Flexible Coupling

NM67 provides 13 N.m nominal torque, up to 28 mm bore capacity and a rated speed limit of 3000 rpm. It is suited to compact pumps, fans and light machinery when torque, shaft fit, alignment and installation space are all within the model limits.

NM67 technical data

NM67 steps up bore capacity to 28 mm while keeping a relatively short 30 mm axial length. It is a useful candidate when a compact machine has outgrown NM50 on shaft size but does not need the larger envelope of the mid-range couplings.

Fit and machining checks

The 67 mm outside diameter and 46 mm D1 dimension should be checked against covers, brackets and pump guards. On replacement work, do not assume that an old 25 or 28 mm shaft automatically means NM67; verify the installed envelope and keyway as well.

With 13 N.m nominal torque and a 3000 rpm speed limit, NM67 can be screened for small pump, fan and general machine drives. The final choice still depends on starting behavior and the driven equipment, not the motor frame alone.

Alignment and assembly

NM67 uses a 2.5 +/- 0.5 mm separation. Its stated radial allowance is 0.03 mm and angular allowance is 3.0 degrees. Keep those values as commissioning boundaries after final base and piping adjustments.

Specify the elastomer by material requirement rather than colour. NBR is standard for this range; unusual temperature or fluid exposure should be stated before the replacement element is confirmed.
