NBR ring versus polyurethane spider systems
The user-supplied NM catalogue identifies an NBR buffer ring. It does not publish Shore hardness. The colour-coded 92 Shore A, 98 Shore A and 64 Shore D system requested in the brief is documented by KTR for its T-PUR jaw-coupling products, so it cannot be published as the standard NM configuration.
We retain those three hardness values only as a buyer question: if an alternative polyurethane element is required, request the exact compatible design, hardness, temperature range and torque rating in writing. Do not mix rings between coupling geometries.
NM range questions
What is an NM coupling?
It is a flexible shaft coupling with two hubs and a resilient ring. The supplied EVER-POWER range uses a four-lobe NBR element.
Which sizes are documented?
NM50, NM67, NM82, NM97, NM112, NM128, NM148, NM168, NM194 and NM214.
Can bores and keyways be customized?
They can be requested, but each bore pair, keyway, fit and hub material must be confirmed in the quotation and drawing.
Are 92A, 98A and 64D spiders standard?
No. That colour-coded T-PUR system is documented for another jaw-coupling family. The supplied NM catalogue states NBR but not hardness.
