Product appearance varies with coupling size and finished bore. Use the model table below for dimensions and send both shaft details for machining.
NM50 Flexible Coupling
NM50 provides 5 N.m nominal torque, up to 19 mm bore capacity and a rated speed limit of 3000 rpm. It is suited to compact pumps, fans and light machinery when torque, shaft fit, alignment and installation space are all within the model limits.
NM50 technical data
NM50 is the smallest coupling in this range. It is most useful where compact packaging and small shaft diameters matter as much as transmitted torque. Before choosing it for a small drive, verify that both finished bores stay comfortably inside the 19 mm limit and that the guard leaves room around the 50 mm outside diameter.
| Model | Nominal torque | Speed limit | D | D1 | d max | L | S | Radial | Angular |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NM50 | 5 N.m | 3000 转速 | 50 mm | 33 mm | 19 mm | 25 mm | 2 +/- 0.5 mm | 0.03 mm | 3.0 deg |
D, D1, d max, L, S and radial values are in millimetres. Angular displacement is shown in degrees. On smaller screens, drag the table horizontally to view all columns.
Fit and machining checks
This size has little spare hub section for an oversized keyway or an aggressive bore request. Send both shaft diameters and keyways early. If one shaft is near the model limit, the bore detail should be reviewed together with torque rather than treated as a simple machining instruction.
Where this size fits
Use NM50 as a starting point for low-torque pumps, fans, auxiliaries and compact machinery only when the real operating point fits its 5 N.m nominal rating. Frequent starts or shock can matter even on a small motor, so include them in the enquiry.
Alignment and assembly
The stated alignment values for NM50 are 0.03 mm radial and 3.0 degrees angular. Set the 2 +/- 0.5 mm separation after the connected machines are tightened, then re-check alignment before the guard is closed.
Prepare the NM50 RFQ
For an NM50 quotation, send speed, torque or motor power, the two shaft sizes, both keyways, quantity and destination. A simple photo or shaft sketch is useful when the coupling replaces an unknown small component.
Material and service conditions
NBR is the standard flexible-element material. For a small high-cycle drive, include temperature, oil exposure and start frequency if they could affect the elastomer selection.
Compare the nearest NM sizes
If either shaft will not fit the 19 mm bore limit, compare NM67 instead of forcing the NM50 hub. The larger size also changes the outside envelope, so check available space again.
