What sizes are in the EVER POWER NM range?
Ten models are listed in the NM range: NM50, NM67, NM82, NM97, NM112, NM128, NM148, NM168, NM194 and NM214.
What is the nominal torque range?
The nominal ratings run from 5 N.m for NM50 to 1000 N.m for NM214. Use the model table for the intermediate values.
Which models have a 1500 rpm speed limit?
NM194 and NM214. NM50 through NM168 are rated at 3000 rpm.
Does d max mean any bore below it is automatically acceptable?
No. d max is the specified maximum bore diameter. The finished bore, keyway, hub material and duty still need to be compatible with the order design.
Can the two hubs have different bore sizes?
Yes. State the driving and driven shaft diameters and keyways separately in the RFQ.
Does the coupling need lubrication?
The NM range is presented as lubrication-free. Inspection still matters for alignment, hub security and elastomer condition.
What elastomer material should I request?
The standard specification is NBR. If your application needs a different polymer or hardness, state temperature, oil/chemical exposure and the required behavior so the material can be confirmed in the quotation.
Can I use elastomer color to identify material?
No. Color may be a supplier or project code and is not proof of chemistry or hardness.
Is there a specified maximum or peak torque?
The NM product table lists nominal torque. Do not infer a peak or overload value. Unusual transient duty must be reviewed for the application.
What information should I send for a quote?
Model if known, running speed, design torque or motor power, both shaft diameters, keyways, quantity and destination. Add starts, reversing, shock, environment and special material requests when relevant.
