That is not a problem, but the conversion needs to happen deliberately rather than by rounding a shaft to the nearest millimetre.<\/p>\n<h2>State the shaft in the unit used by the drawing.<\/h2>\n<p>If the motor or driven shaft is dimensioned in inches, send the exact value and keyway data as specified. We can quote the finished bore from that requirement while keeping the coupling envelope and model table in metric units. If a tolerance or fit is critical, include it explicitly.<\/p>\n<h2>For pump and compressor packages<\/h2>\n<p>Include running rpm, motor power or design torque, equipment type and start behavior.
