\nWhat sizes are in the EVER POWER NM range?<\/summary>\n
Ten models are listed in the NM range: NM50, NM67, NM82, NM97, NM112, NM128, NM148, NM168, NM194 and NM214.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nWhat is the nominal torque range?<\/summary>\n
The nominal ratings run from 5 N.m for NM50 to 1000 N.m for NM214. Use the model table for the intermediate values.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nWhich models have a 1500 rpm speed limit?<\/summary>\n
NM194 and NM214. NM50 through NM168 are rated at 3000 rpm.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nDoes d max mean any bore below it is automatically acceptable?<\/summary>\n
No. d max is the specified maximum bore diameter. The finished bore, keyway, hub material and duty still need to be compatible with the order design.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nCan the two hubs have different bore sizes?<\/summary>\n
Yes. State the driving and driven shaft diameters and keyways separately in the RFQ.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nDoes the coupling need lubrication?<\/summary>\n
The NM range is presented as lubrication-free. Inspection still matters for alignment, hub security and elastomer condition.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nWhat elastomer material should I request?<\/summary>\n
The standard specification is NBR. If your application needs a different polymer or hardness, state temperature, oil\/chemical exposure and the required behavior so the material can be confirmed in the quotation.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nCan I use elastomer color to identify material?<\/summary>\n
No. Color may be a supplier or project code and is not proof of chemistry or hardness.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nIs there a specified maximum or peak torque?<\/summary>\n
The NM product table lists nominal torque. Do not infer a peak or overload value. Unusual transient duty must be reviewed for the application.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nWhat information should I send for a quote?<\/summary>\n
Model if known, running speed, design torque or motor power, both shaft diameters, keyways, quantity and destination. Add starts, reversing, shock, environment and special material requests when relevant.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n
